I like how you say to draw from size line to size line, which is how I used to do it before I learned about the FBA, sway back adjustment, and so forth. I'm having a harder time fitting now! Maybe I should go back to just drawing from size to size. :)

A question, though, would this work also to address a larger than B cup bust and narrow shoulders? Even after I do an FBA, I usually find that the shoulder area is too big. That's my bugaboo right now because I'm petite. And since this will probably be an ongoing issue with me, would love to learn the right way to handle it... And I have a feeling this is not an easy-peasy fix so was wondering if you could point me in a direction... again - should I learn how to and get in the habit of redrafting the sleeve? I don't know how to add to the sleeve head (or top of the sleeve or whatever) without the result being a disaster... Is this from a commercial pattern or one that you made from something you copied? You can send me a photo to steff dot lincecum at gmail dot com and I can take a look at it.
steffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07730531169921265621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2905821893870196545.post-82418651157614614272014-09-17T07:48:18.873-07:002014-09-17T07:48:18.873-07:00Hi Stephanie,

The alteration I am needing to presently make is to (I guess) redraft or somehow adjust the armscye of a sewing pattern for a tunic... I am tall - very - 6'0" so I added an extra 1.5" length to the bust length...but now am not sure where/how to add for the armscye... I am wondering if you can point me in the right direction (I know this is probably too complicated to explain) - should I look up drafting a sleeve pattern? Or is there an easier way to handle this?timbosmamasanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11466407905752468460noreply@blogger.com
